Captain | Gulfstream G450/G550

Position Summary

The Captain operates Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft in private aviation operations. The position is responsible for aircraft command, passenger safety, and conducting flights in accordance with applicable regulations and operating procedures.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• On-call availability required.
• Must reside within two hours of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS) or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft.
• Review aircraft maintenance status before flight.
• Conduct preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Review weather, routes, destination airports, and alternate airports.
• Operate flights in accordance with applicable regulations and operating procedures.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete required flight paperwork and documentation.

Requirements

• Gulfstream G450/G550 or comparable aircraft Type Rating.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multiengine Land.
• Minimum 500 hours Multiengine PIC.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbojet.
• Minimum 250 hours Instrument.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete annual ICAO International Procedures Training.
• Primary residence within two hours of KAUS or willingness to relocate.
