Simulator Instructor | Embraer EMB-145

Position Summary

The Simulator Instructor provides classroom and simulator instruction to new and current EMB-145 airline pilots. This is a non-seniority training position that does not include line-pilot qualification.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMB-145 aircraft systems and procedures instruction.
• Conduct classroom and simulator training sessions.
• Evaluate pilot performance and provide training feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Support initial, recurrent, and qualification training.
• Assist with training materials and course development.
• Maintain training facility and equipment readiness.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Thorough aircraft systems knowledge.
• Instructional development background.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform required physical duties.
• Satisfactory background investigation and drug screening.
• Acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Part 121 experience.
• Advanced Qualification Program experience.
• Previous instructor or simulator instructor experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Current pilot or instructor employment.
• EMB-145 Type Rating.
