Simulator Instructor Pilot | Boeing 737

Position Summary

The 737 Simulator Instructor Pilot delivers ATP/CTP simulator and ground school instruction, using prior airline experience to coach pilots and strengthen crew resource management skills. The position supports a diverse customer base through structured training and individualized instruction.

Schedule

• Part-time, on-call fixed-term position.
• Must provide 8–10 days of availability per month.
• Monthly availability submitted at the end of the preceding month.
• Assignments scheduled according to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ATP/CTP Boeing 737 simulator and ground school training.
• Coach pilots and reinforce effective crew resource management practices.
• Create a professional, welcoming learning environment.
• Adapt training sessions to individual customer needs.
• Provide high-quality customer service throughout training.
• Maintain accurate, timely training records in accordance with company policies and FAA requirements.
• Participate in the employer's instructor training program.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Boeing 737 Type Rating.
• Minimum 2 years of Part 121 experience.
• Authorization to live and work in the United States.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
• Ability and willingness to participate in DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate training documentation.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous simulator instructor experience.
• Previous aviation training, coaching, or instructional experience.
• Experience delivering instruction in a customer-focused training environment.
• Experience adapting instructional methods to individual trainee needs.
