Position Summary
The Second in Command (SIC) supports the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient operation of the Praetor 500/600 while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Total Flight Time: Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- Multi-Engine Experience: Minimum of 500 hours operating a multi-engine aircraft.
- Pilot Certificate: Must hold a valid FAA Commercial certificate with instrument and multi-engine rating.
- Medical Certificate: Must hold a valid FAA Second Class Medical certificate.
- Radio Operators Permit: Must hold a valid FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Education: Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge and adherence to FAA regulations and Gold Aviation’s operational policies.
- International Experience: Experience flying internationally and familiarity with international flight operations.
- Legal Right to Work: Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability Travel Internationally: Must possess a valid passport.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Language: Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
