Description
Position Summary
Metro Aviation is seeking a Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Pilot (IFR/PIC) to support the Children’s Hospital Colorado program operating the Pilatus PC-12 in Englewood, Colorado.
Schedule
7 on / 7 off or 4 on / 4 off rotation with 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned PC-12 air ambulance missions
• Maintain operational control and ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and servicing operations
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and readiness
• Support safe and professional air medical operations
• Comply with FAA regulations, company manuals, and operational directives
• Attend company and customer meetings as required
• Support teamwork and professional communication with crews and customers
Requirements
• ATP required
• FAA Second Class Medical
• Valid driver’s license
• 2,500 total time
• 1,000 PIC
• 50 hours in type
• 500 cross country
• 100 night
• 75 instrument hours
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to pass respirator mask fit requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Air medical operations experience
• Single Pilot IFR experience
• Night Vision Goggle operations experience
