Position Summary

The Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while ensuring compliance with company procedures, FAA regulations, international operating requirements, and aviation safety standards.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights
• Ensure safe and compliant flight operations
• Conduct preflight inspections and flight planning
• Review weather, NOTAMs, fuel, and operational requirements
• Ensure aircraft documentation and databases are current
• Complete passenger safety briefings
• Operate aircraft in accordance with SOPs and aircraft limitations
• Monitor fuel reserves and coordinate with ATC during abnormal situations
• Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and international regulations
• Record flight times and aircraft discrepancies
• Report incidents, violations, and hazardous conditions as required
• Participate in the Safety Management System
• Support additional aviation department duties including training, standards, and international operations


Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
• 1,000 hours PIC in similar type and complexity
• Corporate aviation experience
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical
• Ability to move items up to 50 lbs

• Bachelor’s Degree
• G-VII Type Rating
