Description

Position Summary

The EMB-145 Instructor Pilot delivers simulator and ground school instruction while supporting pilot training, licensing, type ratings, and qualification programs in accordance with regulatory standards and company-approved curriculum.


Responsibilities

• Deliver simulator and ground school instruction
• Guide clients through all phases of training
• Conduct classroom, simulator, and flight instruction
• Conduct pre- and post-simulator briefings
• Maintain training records and qualification tracking
• Recommend remedial training when necessary
• Support curriculum and courseware development
• Qualify as Training Center Evaluator (TCE) based on business needs
• Participate in international travel and extended training assignments


Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to participate in DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program
• Hold or have held a professional pilot license
• Authorization to live and work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications

• Existing instructor qualification or aircraft type rating
• FAR Part 135 experience
• 3,000+ Total Flight Hours
• Unrestricted ATP Certificate
• At least one unrestricted PIC type rating
• Previous teaching or training experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
