Description
Position Summary
The Fixed Wing Pilot supports hospital-based air medical transport operations, conducting critical care transport missions throughout Michigan in IFR, night, winter, and rural operating environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
• Operate company aircraft for medical transport missions
• Maintain required FAA and company documentation
• Collaborate with medical crews, dispatch, and maintenance personnel
• Support continuity and coordination of services
• Participate in community outreach initiatives
• Maintain accountability for safe aircraft operations
• Assist with policy and procedure development
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives
• Prioritize patient and crew safety in all operational decisions
Requirements
• Commercial Pilot License – FAA
• FAA Flight Physical
• ATP Certificate required within 2 years
• IFR and night operation experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 3,500 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 PIC Multi-Engine Hours
• 1,500 PIC Turbine Hours
• EMS flight experience
• FAA Part 135 experience
• Winter operations experience
