Description
Position Summary
The Advanced Instructor delivers advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) in high-performance aerobatic aircraft and advanced simulators, supporting corporate, military, government, commercial, and owner/operator pilots through all-attitude and all-envelope flight instruction.
Responsibilities
• Deliver advanced UPRT ground and flight instruction
• Conduct upset recovery and stall/spin training flights
• Provide aerobatic instruction in high-performance aircraft
• Instruct pilots in advanced simulator environments
• Support development of pilot safety and recovery skills
• Conduct flight operations from Mesa, Arizona
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and flight safety
Requirements
• 1,500 Total Flight Hours
• FAA Commercial Single-Engine Land Pilot License
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• Substantial all-attitude and all-envelope flight experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 500+ hours of all-attitude flight experience preferred
• Military flight instructor experience preferred
• Tactical or fighter experience preferred
• Aerobatic competition or airshow experience preferred
• Test pilot school graduate experience preferred
• Two years commercial and/or military multi-engine turboprop or turbojet experience preferred
• Two years CFI and/or military instructor experience preferred
• 200+ instructional hours preferred
• 2,000+ Total Flight Hours preferred
• One or more type ratings preferred
