Description
Position Summary
The Fixed Wing Pilot provides air medical transportation services while operating King Air C208 and B200 aircraft during day and night medevac operations throughout Alaska in support of emergency medical transport missions.
Schedule
• 15 Days On / 15 Days Off
Responsibilities
• Safely transport patients and medical personnel during air medical operations
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and company requirements
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and operational readiness
• Complete regulatory and operational documentation
• Coordinate with dispatch, medical crews, and operational personnel
• Participate in shift handoffs and operational briefings
• Maintain required pilot certifications and recurrent training
• Assist with aircraft towing, de-icing, and hangar operations when required
Requirements
• Commercial AMEL Certificate
• Ability to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2,500 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Fixed-Wing Hours
• 1,000 PIC Hours
• 500 Multi-Engine Hours
• 500 Cross Country Hours
• 100 Night Hours
• 75 Instrument Hours (50 Actual)
• Single Pilot IFR experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Medevac experience preferred
• Cargo experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
