Description

Position Summary

The ENG (Part 91) Line Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft supporting electronic news gathering operations. The pilot conducts flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures while ensuring aircraft airworthiness, operational readiness, crew safety, and mission success.


Schedule

• 4 Days On / 10-Hour Shifts


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command and ensure safe aircraft operations
• Review all available flight information prior to departure
• Verify aircraft inspection status and discrepancy logs
• Ensure passenger and crew safety
• Obtain weather briefings, NOTAMs, and PIREPs
• Ensure aircraft is properly inspected, loaded, equipped, and legal for flight
• Complete pre-flight risk assessments
• Participate in the company Safety Management System (SMS)
• Supervise loading of cargo and passengers
• Verify weight and balance compliance
• Complete flight logs, records, and maintenance documentation
• Attend and complete required initial and recurrent training
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Instrument Rating
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• 1,250 Hours Total Flight Time
• 500 Hours PIC Helicopter Time
• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of FAA regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Customer-service oriented
