Description

Position Summary

The Global Series Simulator Instructor is responsible for delivering pilot training programs with a primary emphasis on simulator instruction while supporting pilot development, standardization, operational readiness, and training compliance. The position includes simulator instruction, ground school delivery, and active participation in Global 7500 line operations to maintain operational proficiency and awareness.


Responsibilities

• Conduct simulator training in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, SOPs, and approved training programs
• Deliver instruction in normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures
• Evaluate pilot proficiency in aircraft systems, automation, QRH usage, CRM, checklist discipline, and operational decision-making
• Utilize competency-based grading methodologies and support Evidence Based Training (EBT) principles
• Reinforce standardization, callouts, task allocation, and effective two-crew operations
• Provide performance-based feedback, coaching, and mentorship
• Support initial, recurrent, transition, upgrade, and other assigned training programs
• Complete training records and documentation accurately and on time
• Identify training trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Operate as an active Global 7500 / 8000 crew member in domestic and international operations
• Support operational reliability, crew availability, and standardization objectives


Requirements

• ATP Certificate
• 3,500 Hours Total Flight Time
• Ability to obtain and maintain FAA First Class Medical Certification
• Bombardier Global 7500 Type Rating or BBD700 Type Rating
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Unrestricted domestic and international travel capability
• No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the previous five years
• Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot
• Successful completion of company Instructor and Check Pilot Training Programs
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, CRM, SOP compliance, competency-based training, EBT principles, and operational risk management
• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and instructional skills


Preferred Qualifications

• Bombardier Global 7500 and BBD700 Type Ratings
• Previous Simulator Instructor Experience
• Minimum 12 Months Training Delivery Experience
• Previous Ground School Instruction Experience
• Previous Instructional or Checking Qualifications (CFII, MEI, Check Pilot, TCE, IP, TRI, TRE, or Equivalent)
• Part 135 Experience
• International Operational Experience
• Relocation to Columbus, OH
