Description

Position Summary

The Seasonal Field/Contract Pilot supports specialized helicopter operations throughout Alaska and the lower 48 states. Operations may include mining support, crew transport, firefighting, precision sling work, aerial surveys, animal capture, and photography missions.


Schedule

• Seasonal Position
• May through September


Responsibilities

• Conduct helicopter contract and charter operations
• Support mining and resource industry projects
• Conduct crew transportation missions
• Support firefighting operations
• Conduct precision sling operations
• Perform aerial survey missions
• Support wildlife capture operations
• Conduct aerial photography flights
• Operate throughout Alaska and the lower 48 states


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate
• 1,500 Hours PIC Helicopter Time
• Meet FAR Part 135 Requirements


Preferred Qualifications

• Vertical Reference Experience
• Longline External Load Experience
• OAS Cardable Qualifications
