Description

Position Summary

The Direct Entry Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of company aircraft while ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and company operating procedures. Captains serve as operational leaders, promote a culture of safety, and deliver exceptional customer and crew experiences while supporting the airline’s values of Safety Always, Keeping It Simple, Do The Right Thing, and One Crew.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command during all phases of flight operations
• Demonstrate ownership of safety in all operational activities
• Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Report hazards, safety concerns, and operational risks
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
• Fulfill Inflight Security Coordinator responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with Part 117 flight and duty limitations
• Verify weight and balance calculations
• Verify takeoff and landing performance calculations
• Maintain route and airport currency requirements
• Carry all required certifications and documentation
• Support on-time and efficient operations without compromising safety
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers
• Lead crews through professionalism, CRM, and company values


Schedule

• Rotating Schedule
• Up to 16-Hour Duty Days
• Night, Weekend, Holiday, and Overnight Assignments Required
• Multiple Days Away from Home May Be Required


Requirements

• FAA First Class Medical Certificate with at least 3 months remaining before expiration at date of hire
• Meets 14 CFR §121.436(a)(3) Requirements
• U.S. Citizen
• Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
• Ability to pass DOT Pre-Employment Drug Screening
• 2,000 Hours Turbine PIC Time
• 1,000 Hours Part 121 PIC Time


Preferred Qualifications

• 5,000 Hours Total Fixed-Wing Flight Time

Compensation

• New Hire Training Pay: $6,020 Per Month
• Upon Completion of B737 IOE: $15,050 Per Month at 70-Hour Guarantee
• Year 1 Captain Pay: $215 Per Hour
• Year 2 Captain Pay: $245 Per Hour
• Year 3 Captain Pay: $251 Per Hour
• Year 4 Captain Pay: $256 Per Hour
• Year 5 Captain Pay: $261 Per Hour
• Year 6 Captain Pay: $267 Per Hour
• Year 7 Captain Pay: $272 Per Hour
• Year 8 Captain Pay: $277 Per Hour
• Year 9 Captain Pay: $282 Per Hour
