Description

Position Summary

The Flight Instructor provides high-quality flight and ground instruction in a modern Cirrus training environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position supports primary, instrument, transition, proficiency, and discovery flight training using a fleet of advanced Cirrus aircraft and flight simulators, while helping students progress safely and efficiently toward their aviation goals.


Schedule
• Full-Time (Hourly)
• Overnight travel required as needed for flight instruction and pilot services


Responsibilities
• Provide flight and ground instruction for private, instrument, transition, proficiency, and discovery flights
• Deliver standardized, high-quality flight training in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain a high level of aircraft knowledge and instructional proficiency
• Adapt instructional techniques to meet individual student needs
• Provide professional customer service before, during, and after training events
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned students
• Escalate operational or student concerns to the Chief Flight Instructor
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Fuel, service, and prepare aircraft for flight as required
• Maintain student scheduling and support timely training progression
• Complete ferry and reposition flights as needed
• Produce a minimum of 100 billable flight and ground instruction hours per month


Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
• Commercial Pilot Certificate – Single Engine Land (CSEL)
• Instrument Rating
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• Minimum 750 hours total flight time
• Minimum 500 hours dual instruction given
• Minimum 250 hours G1000 experience


Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 100 hours Cirrus aircraft experience
• Additional G1000 experience
