osition Summary
Seeking a Vision Jet Pilot in Command (PIC) to conduct charter and specialized medical missions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. This position requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and the ability to work closely with medical teams, clients, and flight department personnel.
Responsibilities
• Conduct charter and special mission medical flights in accordance with company procedures and mission objectives
• Review upcoming missions to ensure safe and efficient flight operations
• Operate in compliance with the General Operations Manual and FAA Part 135 regulations
• Participate in safety and training events with hospital partners
• Attend monthly flight department and maintenance meetings
• Prepare aircraft for daily operations and ensure mission readiness
• Monitor weather conditions throughout all phases of flight
• Complete all pre-flight planning, weight and balance calculations, and Part 135 requirements
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, medical personnel, patients, vendors, and team members
• Support training initiatives and operational development programs
• Maintain required certifications, training, and continuing education
• Collaborate with management and client representatives on operational initiatives and relationship development
Requirements
• ATP Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL) endorsement
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• 1,500 Total Flight Hours (Fixed Wing)
• 200 Hours in Single Engine Complex Aircraft
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
• Active participation in a DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
• No FAA violations or accidents
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations with emphasis on Part 135 operations
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must reside or relocate within one hour of FLL Airport
Preferred Qualifications
• Vision Jet Type Rating
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation or Management
• Previous Part 135 experience
• Turbojet experience
• Two-pilot crew experience
• Flight instructor experience
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
