Description

Position Summary

The King Air Pilot supports maritime surveillance operations throughout the Central and Western Pacific while serving as either Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC). This position conducts extended overwater surveillance missions in King Air 200/300 aircraft operating under Part 91 regulations. Pilots are responsible for safe flight operations, mission planning, crew coordination, and international deployments in support of customer objectives.


Schedule
• Full-Time
• Three-month rotational deployments
• Includes pre-deployment training, travel, and post-deployment administrative duties


Responsibilities
• Conduct maritime surveillance, transit, and functional check flights in King Air 200/300 aircraft.
• Perform mission planning, including routing, weather analysis, fuel planning, and flight plan preparation.
• Complete aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
• Conduct Aircrew Risk Management assessments and weight and balance calculations.
• Brief crew members and passengers on normal and emergency procedures.
• Inspect and verify aircraft emergency and survival equipment.
• Complete required flight records, mission documentation, and reports.
• Coordinate effectively with crew members, maintenance personnel, and local officials.
• Participate in deployed aviation and non-aviation team activities.
• Provide operational briefings regarding aircraft and mission capabilities.
• Assist with international travel planning and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) and Instrument Airplane Ratings (CASA equivalent accepted).
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate valid throughout deployment.
• Current U.S. or Australian Passport.
• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Ability to travel on short notice for deployments up to three months.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to maintain physical fitness appropriate for mission requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete background investigation and drug screening.


Preferred Qualifications
• Law enforcement, military, or equivalent operational flying experience.
• Garmin G600, GTN750, or G1000 avionics experience.
• Deployed or surveillance flight operations experience.
• King Air operational experience.
• International flight experience.
• CFI, CFII, and MEI Certificates.
• BE-200/300 Type Rating.
• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,000 AMEL hours.
• 100 AMEL hours within the previous six months.
• 500 King Air hours.
• 200 hours actual instrument time.
