Aviation has always been my passion. When I was young, I loved going to O’Hare International in Chicago just to watch take-offs and landing and see everything related to flying. This has always been my calling and I intend to make a career in the industry as a pilot.
I have never had a checkride failure in my training. I believe I am calm under pressure, able to always remain focused on both the immediate activity at hand as well as the process that lies ahead. One example of this was on my CFII checkride. I got caught up in teaching different concepts that I was very late in getting setup for my first approach. I was certain that a mistake like that was going to result in me failing the checkride. But when the DPE didn’t say anything, I pushed it to the back of my mind, keeping it from snowballing into other problems and I successfully passed that checkride.
I am also a flight operations specialist in the US Army Reserves. I’ve had experience in exercising CRM on lost aircraft and medevac exercises with the Army, responsible for delegation of personnel tasks to complete emergency SOPs.
Thank you for reviewing my profile and I look forward to hearing from you.
