Position Summary

The Cessna 310R Aerial Survey Pilot is responsible for conducting aerial mapping and survey missions throughout the United States and Canada while operating multi-engine aircraft in a single-pilot environment. This role involves executing aerial photography and data collection missions, navigating complex airspace and weather conditions, managing aircraft operations, and coordinating with flight operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient mission completion.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-engine aircraft in a single-pilot environment
• Conduct aerial survey, mapping, and photography missions
• Fly assigned missions throughout the United States and Canada
• Manage aircraft movements and cross-country flight operations
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and condition
• Complete daily aircraft and operational reports
• Coordinate with Flight Operations and Maintenance teams
• Work with maintenance providers nationwide to maintain aircraft airworthiness
• Operate in Class A airspace and above 8,000 feet AGL
• Conduct flights of up to 8 hours over metropolitan areas
• Navigate high-density, restricted, prohibited, and SFRA airspace
• Ensure safe and efficient mission execution in varying weather conditions

Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating
• Current FAA Instrument Rating and proficiency
• High Performance Endorsement
• Complex Endorsement
• First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Passport with at least six months validity remaining
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to travel throughout the United States and internationally as required
• FCC Radio Operator License
• Multi-Engine Night Current and Proficient at Time of Hire
• 650 Total Flight Hours
• 40 Hours Multi-Engine Time (Insurance Requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• 80+ Hours Multi-Engine Piston Time
• Cessna Caravan Experience
• A&P Experience
• Prior Aerial Survey Experience
• CFI, CFII, or MEI Certificates
