Description
Position Summary
The First Officer assists the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient operation of the Lockheed L-382G Hercules aircraft while supporting domestic and international cargo operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of the aircraft, crew, and cargo while operating in remote, challenging, and global environments.
Responsibilities
• Perform assigned duties in accordance with company policies, operating manuals, and applicable regulations
• Assist the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations
• Ensure the safety of cargo, crew members, and aircraft during all phases of flight
• Comply with all operating procedures and regulatory requirements
• Complete required flight forms, reports, and documentation
• Assist in ensuring aircraft is properly equipped and prepared for flight
• Assist with aircraft loading and unloading activities as required
• Travel domestically and internationally in support of flight operations
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely at all times
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time
• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or completion of ATP-CTP with required aeronautical experience
• Multi-Engine Rating
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Current Driver’s License
• Current U.S. Passport
• Successful Simulator Flight Evaluation
• Ability to obtain airport security access credentials
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended trips away from home
