Position Summary

The Avro RJ Captain is responsible for safely and efficiently operating Avro RJ aircraft as Pilot-in-Command. This position supports passenger charter, cargo transport, and customized flight operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently as Pilot-in-Command
• Stay current with weather information, NOTAMs, and available flight information
• Verify Type A flight plans for accuracy
• Participate in aircraft pre-flight inspections
• Complete all required post-flight duties
• Support safe and efficient flight operations throughout Northern Canada

Requirements

• Current Canadian ATPL
• 4,000 hours total time
• 2,500 hours MPIC (greater than 5,700 kg)
• Current Passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe
• Ability to obtain a Canadian Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• Strong commitment to safety culture
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 500 hours on jet aircraft
• High Arctic experience
• Glass cockpit experience
