Description
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft while ensuring compliance with company procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, and industry best practices. The PIC is responsible for flight planning, aircraft readiness, passenger safety, crew coordination, and adherence to Part 91 and Part 135 operational requirements.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Challenger 300 aircraft
• Conduct flight operations in accordance with Part 91 and Part 135 regulations
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain aircraft operational readiness and safety
• Coordinate flight planning and execution
• Ensure the safety of passengers, crew members, and aircraft
• Uphold company service standards and professionalism
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• First Class FAA Medical Certificate
• Appropriate PIC Type Rating
• 3,500 hours Total Flight Time
• 2,000 hours Pilot in Command Time
• 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land Time
• 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC Time
• 300 hours Instrument Time
• 500 hours Turbine Time
• 200 hours Time in Type
• Ability to maintain a valid First Class Medical Certificate
• Knowledge of FAR Part 91 and Part 135 operations
• Ability to live within a two-hour callout of the aircraft base
