Description

Position Summary

The Float Plane Pilot is responsible for safely operating a single-engine turbine amphibious float plane along the British Columbia coastline, transporting employees and executives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, customer service, and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

• Operate a single-engine turbine amphibious float plane on corporate flight missions
• Transport employees and executives throughout coastal British Columbia
• Maintain the highest standards of flight safety and professionalism
• Represent the company as a corporate ambassador during all flight operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Transport Canada regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers
• Support safe and efficient flight operations along coastal and remote destinations


Requirements

• Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate
• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 1,500 hours Float Time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Turbine Time
• Valid Passport with unrestricted ability to travel to the United States
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Strong communication skills
• Must be located in the Vancouver area


Preferred Qualifications

• Amphibious float experience
• Kodiak 100 experience
• Coastal operating experience
• Instrument Rating (IFR)
• Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
• Garmin G1000 familiarity

Compensation

• $110,000 – $160,000 CAD annually
• 15% Performance Bonus
