Position Summary

The Second in Command (SIC) supports medical transport, organ procurement, and critical care missions while assisting the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This position contributes to life-saving flight operations while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Schedule

• 14 Days On / 14 Days Off

Responsibilities

• Promote positive attitudes toward compliance and safety
• Assist with flight planning, aircraft inspections, and aircraft preparation
• Support safe execution of flights in accordance with approved flight plans and ATC clearances
• Maintain aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists
• Comply with company SOPs, FAA regulations, and operational requirements
• Maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Assist with baggage handling and passenger support
• Help maintain aircraft cleanliness and appearance
• Assist with catering and aircraft supply management
• Attend required ground and simulator training
• Maintain operational proficiency and aircraft knowledge
• Search for and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current First Class Medical Certificate
• Unrestricted Passport
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Minimum 1,000 hours SIC Time
• Minimum 200 hours Actual Instrument Time
• Minimum 250 hours Night Time
• Minimum two years multi-crew experience
• Must live within 45 minutes of the Puerto Rico hub
