Position Summary

The First Officer is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the MD-80 aircraft while supporting cargo operations throughout the company’s route network. This position requires strict adherence to FAA regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as assigned
• Maintain compliance with company manuals, bulletins, and operational procedures
• Support safe and efficient flight operations
• Maintain professionalism and operational readiness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Minimum 2,000 hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Land Time
• Minimum 500 hours Jet or Turboprop Time
• Current U.S. Passport
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid Driver’s License
• Professional demeanor and appearance
