Description

Position Summary

The Fixed Wing Pilot is responsible for conducting safe and efficient Part 91 and Part 135 domestic and international flight operations while serving as Pilot in Command. This position oversees flight planning, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and passenger transportation while supporting the Aviation Department’s operational and administrative responsibilities.


Schedule
• Full-Time
• On-call with a two-hour callout.
• Domestic and international operations.
• Evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules as required.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command for Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Conduct domestic and international flight operations.
• Prepare and review flight plans and aircraft performance.
• Complete Flight Risk Assessments and implement appropriate mitigations.
• Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, and company regulations.
• Coordinate with the Aviation Department regarding aircraft operations and maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform maintenance test flights and other aviation department missions.


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,000 Hours Fixed-Wing Total Time.
• Minimum 1,500 Hours Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 1,000 Hours Jet Time.
• Valid Passport.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Ability to maintain Part 135 PIC qualifications.
• Ability to pass Part 135 check ride.
• Accident-free history with a clean FAA record.
• No restrictions for international Part 91 or Part 135 operations.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass background investigation, drug screening, and FAA DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Primary residence within one hour of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) or willingness to relocate.


Preferred Qualifications
• Gulfstream G280 Type Rating.
• Gulfstream G550 Type Rating.
