Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Hawker 800XP Captain responsible for leading flight operations while delivering exceptional client experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. This role serves as Pilot-in-Command and provides leadership, customer service, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight for domestic and international Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
Schedule
• Target of 25 Flight Hours Per Month
• Up to 20 Duty Days Per Month with 10 Dedicated Hard Days Off
• Schedule flexibility required to support aircraft owner travel demands
• Domestic and international travel required
Responsibilities
• Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Exercise operational control responsibilities and maintain final authority over flight decisions
• Lead and mentor assigned First Officers
• Maintain aircraft type proficiency and recurrent training requirements
• Ensure compliance with flight duty, rest, and fatigue management requirements
• Deliver premium customer service that exceeds aircraft owner and passenger expectations
• Represent the company professionally during all client interactions
• Coordinate itinerary changes and special client requests with operations personnel
• Conduct passenger briefings and maintain a seamless client experience
• Review aircraft maintenance logs and verify airworthiness before departure
• Ensure preflight, postflight, and routine servicing requirements are completed
• Verify manuals, charts, and required equipment are current and onboard
• Document engine trend monitoring data and maintenance observations as required
• Coordinate maintenance activities and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure operational records and documentation are completed accurately and on time
• Perform Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator duties as required by regulations
• Verify required international travel documentation for crew and passengers
• Conduct international operations in compliance with customs, immigration, and foreign aviation requirements
• Participate in safety management initiatives and fleet standardization efforts
• Support training programs and mentor junior crewmembers
• Represent the company at industry functions and client-facing events
• Complete special projects and operational initiatives as assigned
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 3,000 Total Flight Hours
• Minimum 1,500 Pilot-in-Command Hours
• Minimum 500 Multi-Engine PIC Hours
• Minimum 250 PIC Hours in Hawker 800XP Type
• Minimum 250 Turbine PIC Hours
• Completed initial or recurrent training in type within the previous 12 months
• Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 91 and Part 135 operations
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Passport
• Ability to pass background screening and drug screening
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Computer proficiency with business and mobile applications
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for premium client interactions
• Experience with international flight operations and customs procedures
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Must be local to Orlando, FL or willing to relocate within 30 days
• Position is not commutable
