Description
Position Summary
The ATR First Officer Floater supports cargo flight operations throughout the Eastern United States and Caribbean markets. This position serves as Second-in-Command on ATR aircraft while assisting the Captain with flight planning, cargo operations, regulatory compliance, and safe flight execution. Floater pilots may be home-based provided they live near a major airport within the Eastern United States.
Responsibilities
• Operate aircraft in accordance with flight manuals and the Company Operations Manual.
• Serve as Second-in-Command during cargo flight operations.
• Calculate aircraft weight and balance.
• Supervise cargo loading and unloading activities.
• Assist the Captain with flight planning.
• Support positive employee and customer relations.
• Ensure accuracy of operational paperwork and records.
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or Restricted ATP Certificate – Multi-Engine Land.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Current Passport.
• U.S. Citizenship or legal U.S. work authorization.
• 1,500 hours total flight time (or Restricted ATP minimums, as applicable).
• 500 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
• 50 hours Multi-Engine Land time.
Preferred Qualifications
• ATR experience.
• Cargo flight operations experience.
• Part 121 operational experience.
