I am a FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) and Instrument Ground Instructor based in Phoenix, Arizona, with over 880 hours of total flight time and more than 600 hours of dual instruction given. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota, one of the most established collegiate aviation programs in the country, and I completed my instrument and CFII training entirely in the live IFR system under filed flight plans.
My recent experience comes from training commercial single-engine students in a structured Part 141 program, flying the Piper Archer. Daily instructing has sharpened my ability to break down complex procedures, manage real ATC and weather, and hold a consistent standard in the cockpit. Earning the Gold Seal reflects the instructor I work to be: thorough, calm under pressure, and focused on producing pilots who are genuinely ready for the next stage of their training.
I am currently building toward airline minimums and pursuing my Multi-Engine Instructor rating, with 29.4 hours of multi-engine time logged to date. My long-term goal is a career as a professional airline pilot, and I am open to both flight instructor positions and regional or airline first officer opportunities where I can continue to grow. I bring reliability, a strong work ethic, and a professional mindset to every flight.
