Description

Position Summary
The Learjet 35/55 Captain serves as Pilot in Command for Part 135 air ambulance operations. This position is responsible for safe, compliant, and professional flight operations while supporting domestic and international medical transport missions on a 7-on / 7-off rotation.


Responsibilities
• Act as PIC in accordance with Part 135 regulations and company SOPs
• Maintain operational control and compliance with dispatch and flight-following procedures
• Conduct preflight planning, risk assessments, and post-flight duties
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and accurate completion of aircraft logs
• Provide a high level of passenger service while maintaining safety as the top priority
• Mentor and coordinate effectively with SICs and operational staff


Requirements
• ATP Certificate
• First Class Medical Certificate
• 3,000 hours total time
• 1,000 hours turbine time
• 500 hours multi-engine time
• 1,000 hours PIC time
• Part 135 PIC-qualified or ability to meet PIC requirements
• Recent IFR experience
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Must pass background checks
• No history of FAA accidents, incidents, or enforcement actions


Preferred Qualifications
• Current Learjet 35/55 Type Rating
• Prior Part 135 PIC experience
• Recent Learjet 35/55 flight time
• International experience
• RVSM experience
• Strong CRM skills
• Strong customer-facing skills
