Description

Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft within a private jet management operation flying under Part 91 and Part 135, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.


Responsibilities
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and CFR requirements
• Maintain communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, and flight reports
• Maintain electronic flight bag hardware and applications
• Keep navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current
• Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making while representing the company’s core values


Requirements
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or ability to obtain
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Current U.S. Passport
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Proof of U.S. work eligibility
• Successfully complete an FAA Pilot Records Database review
• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Ability to travel without restriction to the European Union, Canada, and the Caribbean
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Live within a two-hour call-out radius of the assigned base or be willing to relocate
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds


Preferred Qualifications
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months
