Description
Position Summary
The Pilot-in-Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Bombardier Challenger 650 in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and the company’s General Operations Manual. The Captain works closely with the Second-in-Command in a crew environment, demonstrates strong leadership, promotes a safety-first culture, and delivers exceptional customer service while supporting Part 91 and Part 135 VIP flight operations.
Responsibilities
• Conduct safe and efficient Part 91 and Part 135 VIP flight operations
• Ensure aircraft readiness for scheduled trips
• Maintain communication with flight operations
• Complete and maintain all required operational and financial flight records
• Foster a professional team environment that promotes safety and operational excellence
• Demonstrate leadership and superior customer service
• Perform all duties in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and the General Operations Manual
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate – Multi-Engine
• Bombardier Challenger 604/605/650 Type Rating
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• 3,500 hours Total Flight Time
• 2,000 hours Multi-Engine Fixed-Wing Flight Time
• 250 hours Instrument Flight Time
• Valid Passport
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization
• Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 requirements
• No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
• Ability to travel 100% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• U.S. work authorization
• Ability to live within two hours of Raleigh-Durham International Airport
Preferred Qualifications
• 250 hours Challenger 604/605/650 time in type
• Previous Part 91 and Part 135 experience
• College Degree
