Description
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC), working alongside the Second in Command (SIC), is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 650 during Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. This position ensures compliance with FAA regulations and the Elevate Jet General Operations Manual while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
• Conduct safe and timely Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations
• Operate the Challenger 650 in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Ensure aircraft readiness for upcoming trips
• Maintain communication with flight operations
• Maintain required financial and operational records for each flight
• Foster a team-oriented flight deck environment
• Promote safety, professionalism, and operational excellence
Requirements
• Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Challenger 604/605/650 Type Rating
• 3,500 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Multi-Engine Fixed-Wing Hours
• 250 Instrument Hours
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization
• Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 requirements
• No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
• Must live within two hours of Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
• 250 Hours in Challenger 650 type
• Previous FAR Part 91 and Part 135 experience
• College degree
