Position Summary
The Northeast Regional Chief Pilot supports day-to-day Part 135 flight operations throughout the Northeast region while providing leadership, operational oversight, pilot support, and regulatory compliance. This primarily office-based leadership position works closely with the Chief Pilot and company leadership to promote operational excellence, pilot development, and a strong safety culture while maintaining limited line flying responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to pilots assigned to the Northeast region
• Promote compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards
• Address operational, performance, and safety concerns
• Support operational control and communication between flight crews, Dispatch, and company leadership
• Monitor pilot qualifications, scheduling requirements, and operational readiness
• Ensure compliance with the General Operations Manual and company procedures
• Conduct pilot evaluations, ground training, flight training, standardization, and recurrent proficiency activities
• Support the Director of Operations and Director of Training with training program development
• Maintain and communicate current regulatory and operational updates
• Serve as the primary liaison for regional pilot and operational issues
• Assist with pilot recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Coordinate regional pilot meetings and operational improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, and Safety departments
• Support safety investigations and corrective action plans
• Perform limited line flying to support training, checking, and operational continuity
• Maintain personal flight qualifications and currency
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot

Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate ratings
• Strong knowledge of FAA Part 135 regulations and operational requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support on-call operational needs
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous pilot leadership, supervision, or pilot development experience
