I am a former Air Force pilot with 13 years of active duty commissioned service, retiring at the rank of Squadron Leader (equivalent to O-4/Major in the US military) at Grade 18 (equivalent to GS-15). Over my career I logged more than 2,000 flight hours across six military aircraft types, ranging from single-engine piston aircraft to turbojet fighters, multiengine aircraft, and a four-engine platform with a maximum takeoff weight exceeding 140,000 pounds. In addition to flying duties, I held key staff appointments including Deputy Director of Training, Policy, and Publications. I voluntarily resigned my commission to relocate permanently to the United States in pursuit of better opportunities. From 2023 to 2025, I completed my permanent residency process, then began FAA training at Part 61 flight schools at Falcon Field, earning my Private Pilot certificate, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Multiengine Land with Instrument Airplane rating in 2025 and 2026, all while working full time.
