Description

Position Summary
Seeking Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) professionals to provide advanced simulator-based flight instruction in a Cirrus G1000 NXi FAA-approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). This position is ideal for active or former airline and corporate pilots who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of aviators in a professional training environment.


Responsibilities
• Conduct simulator-based flight instruction using the Cirrus G1000 NXi AATD
• Instruct students ranging from first-time flyers to instrument-rated pilots
• Teach basic flight maneuvers and advanced IFR procedures
• Provide instrument proficiency and recurrent training
• Conduct Young Aviators programs for students ages 8–16
• Lead group training sessions for corporate teams and families
• Conduct introductory flight experiences and fear-of-flying programs
• Maintain a professional learning environment and represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism


Requirements
• Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Certificate
• Minimum 1,500 Total Flight Hours
• Current or former airline or professional pilot experience strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of IFR procedures, instrument approaches, G1000 NXi systems, and airspace
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to reliably commute to the Hudson Square, Manhattan location


Preferred Qualifications
• Gold Seal Flight Instructor
• ATP Certificate
• 2,000 or more Total Flight Hours
• Significant instrument and cross-country flight experience
