Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to support Part 91 and Part 135 Challenger 604/605 flight operations. This position is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the safe operation of Challenger 604/605 aircraft during Part 91 and Part 135 operations
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
• Maintain communication with company personnel for standby assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reporting
• Maintain and manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
• Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Demonstrate sound aeronautical decision-making and professionalism
• Represent company core values in all interactions
Requirements
• 1,500 Total Flight Hours
• 500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
• 500 Multi-Engine Hours
• 100 Turbine Hours
• 150 Instrument Hours
• Unrestricted ATP Certificate
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Current Passport
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Driver’s License
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Unrestricted ability to travel to the European Union, Canada, and Caribbean countries
• Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Records Database review
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months
