Position Summary

The First Officer assists the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the Embraer ERJ 135/145 while ensuring all flights are conducted in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures and applicable aviation regulations. This position supports all phases of flight while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain during all phases of flight.
• Operate the Embraer ERJ 135/145 in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Carry out all procedures, limitations, and performance requirements delegated by the Captain.
• Support safe and efficient flight operations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid South African Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
• Valid Instrument Flight Rating (IF).
• Multi-Crew Operations Qualification.
• Valid Radio Telephony Licence.
• ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 (LPR4) or higher.
• Minimum 1,000 Hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum 200 Hours Turbine or Multi-Engine Time, or a combination thereof.
• Must be a South African resident or possess a valid work permit for South Africa.
