Description
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 604 while ensuring compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. This position oversees all phases of flight, provides leadership to the flight crew, and delivers exceptional customer service in Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
Schedule
• Full-Time
• Variable schedule based on operational requirements.
• Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned flights.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning, including weather, routing, fuel, performance, and aircraft airworthiness.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout all phases of flight.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and passenger support.
• Participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
• Mentor and provide leadership to First Officers and flight crew members.
• Complete post-flight reports, logbook entries, and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain required certifications, training, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 3,000 Hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum 1,500 Hours Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 1,000 Hours Multi-Engine Land.
• Minimum 500 Hours Multi-Engine Pilot in Command.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight planning, and Safety Management Systems.
• Proficiency with flight planning and aviation management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Part 135 flight operations experience.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
