Position Summary
The Captain (Pilot in Command) is responsible for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft while delivering exceptional customer service. This position serves as a leader and mentor to First Officers while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Schedule
• Full-Time
• Home-based.
• Must reside within two hours of a major airport.
• Domestic and international travel required.
• Extended trips away from home may be required.
• Irregular schedules with short-notice flight assignments and cancellations.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for all assigned flights.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
• Verify passenger identification prior to boarding.
• Complete all required pre-flight inspections and checklists.
• Mentor and train First Officers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Comply with FAA regulations, company General Operations Manual (GOM), Operational Specifications, and company procedures.
• Maintain communication with flight crew, dispatch, maintenance, and company leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Radio License.
• Valid U.S. Passport.
• 3,000 Total Fixed-Wing Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) Hours.
• 500 Turbine Flight Hours.
• Eligible for unrestricted international travel.
• Must reside within two hours of a major airport.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Corporate Aviation or Part 135 Charter experience.
• Current type rating in company fleet aircraft.
