Position Summary

The Instructor Pilot is responsible for delivering simulator and ground school instruction for the Global 6500 in accordance with FAA regulations, company-approved curriculum, and customer requirements. This position serves as a subject matter expert while supporting pilot certification, type ratings, and qualification training. Qualified instructors are expected to progress to Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract Check Airman responsibilities based on business needs.

Responsibilities
• Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction for the Global 6500.
• Conduct pre- and post-simulator training briefings.
• Provide instruction for type ratings, pilot qualifications, and recurrent training.
• Maintain accurate training records and recommend remedial training when necessary.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in curriculum and courseware development.
• Maintain instructor qualifications and training records.
• Support customer training requirements and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract Check Airman after approximately 1.5 years, based on business needs.

Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or meet qualifications to obtain an unrestricted ATP.
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC jet type rating.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
• Participation in company’s DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to access aircraft and simulator cockpits, including climbing stairs and ladders.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records.
• Two-year training commitment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Part 142 Training Center Evaluator (TCE) experience.
• CFII and MEI Certificates.
• Business aircraft flight experience.
• Experience developing aviation curriculum and courseware.
