Description

Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the Learjet 40XR while delivering exceptional customer service. This position serves as Pilot-in-Command, mentors First Officers, and ensures compliance with all company procedures and applicable FAA regulations.


Schedule
• Irregular work hours
• Multi-day trips away from home
• On-call flight assignments and schedule changes with little notice
• International flight operations


Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot-in-Command for assigned flights
• Ensure the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft
• Verify passenger identification before boarding
• Complete all required pre-flight checklists
• Train and mentor First Officers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Comply with FAA regulations, company General Operations Manual (GOM), Operational Specifications, and company procedures
• Coordinate with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Radio License
• Valid U.S. Passport
• 3,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Pilot-in-Command Flight Hours
• 500 Turbine Flight Hours
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Eligible to operate internationally without restrictions
• Must reside within two hours of a major airport


Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Corporate Aviation or Part 135 Charter experience
• Current type rating on an aircraft within the company fleet
