Description

Position Summary
The Instructor Pilot provides simulator and ground school instruction while preparing pilots for type ratings, recurrent training, and qualification programs. This position develops pilot proficiency through high-quality instruction while serving as a subject matter expert and maintaining compliance with FAA and company training standards.


Schedule
• Full-Time
• Eligible to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) after approximately 1.5 years based on business needs


Responsibilities
• Deliver simulator and ground school instruction in accordance with regulatory requirements and curriculum
• Conduct professional pre- and post-simulator briefings
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for training and curriculum development
• Maintain training records and instructor qualifications
• Recommend remedial training when appropriate
• Provide instruction for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications
• Support internal course development


Requirements
• Unrestricted FAA ATP Certificate or completion of ATP Written
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Participation in company DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for teaching


Preferred Qualifications
• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating
• FAR Part 135 experience
• Minimum 3,000 Total Flight Hours
• Experience flying business aircraft
• Previous instructional or training experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to tailor training to diverse customer needs
• Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills
