Description

Position Summary
The ATP-CTP Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality ground school and simulator instruction to flight crews enrolled in initial and recurrent training programs. This position conducts training in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards while ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining training records, and supporting student success.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality ground school and simulator instruction
• Review student training folders for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct ground, simulator, and other assigned training
• Maintain accurate and timely training records
• Monitor and communicate student progress with fellow instructors
• Communicate student progress with Flight Standards leadership
• Maintain qualifications on assigned training equipment
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company training standards
• Maintain student records in accordance with FAA and company requirements
• Recommend improvements to training courseware and course content
• Maintain competency on assigned aircraft and simulator equipment


Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Previous Part 121 airline operations experience
• Ground School Instructors must hold a minimum FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and/or FAA Ground Instructor Certificate
• Type Rating in at least one of the following:
• Airbus A320
• Boeing 737
• Boeing 747 Classic
• Boeing 747-400
• Boeing 767
• Boeing 777
• McDonnell Douglas MD-88
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications
• Previous aviation instructor experience
• Three years of Part 121 airline experience
