I’m a family guy first — married with three kids, one grown and two still in high school, and travel is something we try to build our life around. Professionally, I’ve spent my career in the cockpit: a regional Captain for Continental, then an A320 Captain for Spirit Airlines until it ceased operations, with 21+ years and 13,000+ hours along the way. Before that, I lived and worked in Europe and Central America, which is where my love of languages comes from — I’m fluent in Dutch, conversational in German and Spanish, and always happy to use them. When I’m not flying, you’ll find me near the water or outdoors.
