Description

Position Summary

The Command Pilot serves as Pilot-in-Command of the Model 107 helicopter, supporting domestic and international heavy-lift operations. This position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of flight missions while leading flight crews, supporting project objectives, and operating in remote and challenging environments.

Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot-in-Command during domestic and international flight operations
• Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
• Demonstrate sound aeronautical decision-making, risk management, and situational awareness
• Lead and coordinate flight operations and assigned personnel
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence
• Represent the company with customers, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate operational hazards and safety risks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful mission execution
• Complete all required operational and administrative documentation
• Support site operations and project activities as needed
• Provide timely operational updates to management
• Serve as Project Lead in the absence of the Site Manager
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Flight Operations leadership


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher with Rotorcraft-Helicopter Rating
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate or higher
• Valid U.S. Passport or equivalent with the ability to travel internationally
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command helicopter flight time
• Heavy-lift helicopter operational experience
• Aerial firefighting experience
• Long-line operational experience
• Strong leadership and crew coordination skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
• Ability to work in remote and austere environments for extended periods
