Description
Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Gulfstream G650ER during Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. This position leads all aspects of flight execution while ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of professionalism and safety in a large-cabin business aviation environment.
Schedule
• Full-Time
• Approximately 350 flight hours annually
• Approximately 90% Part 91 / 10% Internal Part 135 operations
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command during Part 91 and Part 135 operations
• Conduct all flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and standard operating practices
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
• Collaborate effectively with flight crews and operational support personnel
• Maintain required qualifications, certifications, and training requirements
• Complete assigned operational and administrative responsibilities as required
• Successfully comply with all safety-sensitive policies, including drug and alcohol testing requirements
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Gulfstream G650 Type Rating
• Minimum 200 hours in Gulfstream G650 (or strong qualifying experience considered)
• Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
• Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time
• Minimum 1,000 hours turbine time
• Previous large-cabin Part 91/135 experience
• Residence within a two-hour driving commute of Dallas or willingness to relocate
• Ability to successfully complete FAA/DOT drug screening, background investigation, and ongoing random testing
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive experience operating large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced team environment
