Description
Position Summary
The Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality flight training in accordance with UK CAA regulations and company standards. This position provides instruction for Private Pilot Licence (PPL) students, mentors aspiring pilots, and supports the organization’s commitment to safety, innovation, and excellence in aviation training.
Schedule
• Contract Position
• Training and operational schedule based on flight school requirements
Responsibilities
• Deliver flight instruction in accordance with UK CAA regulations and company procedures
• Train and mentor students pursuing their Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and associated ratings
• Conduct trial lessons and experience flights
• Introduce students to electric flight operations using modern training aircraft
• Participate in recurrent instructor training and professional development
• Promote a strong safety culture and operational excellence
• Support company outreach, recruitment, and engagement activities
Requirements
• UK CAA Flight Instructor (FI) or Assistant Flight Instructor (AFI) Certificate
• Current UK CAA Class 1 or Class 2 Medical Certificate (as applicable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to commute to Norwich Airport (EGSH)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for aviation and flight instruction
• Professional and flexible approach to supporting company operations
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Existing and ongoing legal right to work in the United Kingdom
• Willingness to complete psychometric testing as part of the hiring process
