Description

Position Summary

The First Officer supports the Captain in the safe, secure, and efficient operation of Airbus or Boeing wide-body aircraft during international airline operations. This position assists with all phases of flight while ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain during all phases of flight preparation and aircraft operation
• Conduct flight operations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Continuously monitor aircraft position, terrain, weather, and navigation systems to ensure safe operations
• Provide operational support and effective communication to assist the Captain with decision-making
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and personal conduct
• Assume command of the aircraft when required in accordance with company procedures and rank
• Promote safe, efficient, and customer-focused airline operations


Requirements
• Meet one of the following flight experience pathways:
• Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time, including 1,500 hours on multi-crew glass cockpit aircraft and 1,000 hours on Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire or Boeing Wide Body aircraft; or
• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time, including 2,000 hours on Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire or Boeing Wide Body aircraft
• Flown an Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire or Boeing Wide Body aircraft within the previous 12 months
• Valid Type Rating on an Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire or Boeing Wide Body aircraft with at least two months of validity remaining at the time of joining
• Unrestricted ATPL or valid Frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state
• Current unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Must be under 50 years of age at the time of joining


Preferred Qualifications
• Previous international airline experience operating Airbus or Boeing wide-body aircraft
• Strong leadership, communication, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills

Compensation
• Up to AED 513,732 annually, including base salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and applicable allowances based on 75 flying hours per month
• Performance-based annual salary increases
