Description

Position Summary

The First Officer supports the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the Boeing 737 during scheduled airline operations. This position assists with all phases of flight while ensuring compliance with UK CAA regulations, company procedures, and the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.


Schedule
• Permanent
• Full-Time during the summer season
• Part-Time during the winter season
• Rostered schedule
• Approximately 13 weeks off annually across the summer and winter operating periods


Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain during all phases of flight operations
• Conduct flight operations in accordance with UK CAA regulations and company procedures
• Support safe, efficient, and professional airline operations
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence
• Work collaboratively with Captains and flight crew members
• Participate in mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities
• Deliver exceptional service while supporting a safe and reliable travel experience


Requirements
• Valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with ATPL Theory Credits
• Valid Boeing 737 Type Rating with completed base training
• Valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Valid passport with unrestricted worldwide travel privileges
• Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship
• Ability to pass pre-employment and airport security background checks
• Minimum height of 1.58 meters (5 ft 2 in)
• Ability to swim at least 25 meters
• Ability to report to the assigned home base within 90 minutes while on standby
